2* Miami +7 over New Orleans
Miami's top ranked running game (177 YPG) will be able to keep the Saints' offense off the field and they will be able to control the clock. The Saints will be flat after a big win last week versus the Giants. I think the Phins could get the win here and will also place a small wager on the money line.
NO 46 Mia 34
Does it get any uglier? After being up 24-3 and 34-24 goin into the 4th and +7 you should be able to relax, but not in the WWF. The Saints got an interception for a backdoor cover with 2 minutes left. But, the Phins had a chance for their own back door cover and after getting to the 5 yard line they game was called over when players failed to get on sides. Disgusting!
2* Chicago +1 over Cinci
Chicago's Jay Cutler will be able to pass easily against Cinci's terrible pass D and the Bengal's won't be able to move the ball against the Bears defense. This line is on the money as my math system has this at a pick 'em. Da Bears get the win here!

2* S.F. +3 over Houston

Houston is an up and down team and coming off an upset win at Cinci last they will be down this week. San Fran is coming off a bye and a blowout loss to Atlanta and Singletary will have them ready this week. Gore and Crabtree are expected to play also. The Niners will be able to move the ball easily against the Texans' horrible defense that allows 4.9 YPR. Houston has no running game (30th) and will be shut down by SF's good rush D (2nd in NFL).

With the Niners down 21-0 at half it didn't look good. But Alex Smith came in and gave the Niners a spark and they were able to come back and get a great push.
2* N.Y. Giants -7 over Arizona
With the Giants coming off a big loss at N.O. they will own the Cards. The Cards are notoriously bad on the road and they are 2-0 on the season, I don't see this lasting.

1* Pitt -5.5 over Minnesota
WINNER
Minnesota is not going undefeated and I think they get their first win here. Minnesota is undefeated partly because of their +8 turnover ratio. With Winfield out I like big Ben to pass big time.

WOW!!!!! WHAT A COVER!!! With 6 minutes left Pitt recovered a fumble and ran it back 90 yards for a TD to go up ten. The next play the Vikes ran the kickoff back. At that poin the cover was pretty much out of the question. But...my boy Brett Favre came through and threw a pick 6 with a minute left for the cover!
